Garden Grove, CA
– April 14th, 2009 - The EPA advises hotels that they have an opportunity to make a significant environmental contribution through waste prevention simply by switching to modular mattress designs, such as those made by Sterling Sleep Systems, with little or no increase in cost.
Brent Eneix, Managing Partner for Hotel Seven4one states “As a ‘Green’ hotel, we are striving to be environmentally responsible in every facet of our operation. Partnering with Sterling Sleep Systems has resulted in the reduction of future waste, fits into our business model and is very exciting. The comfort and luxurious feel is a bonus and something that our type of discerning clientele expects.”
Sterling Sleep Systems has designed a modular mattress that is not only sustainable but provides a high level of comfort and luxury. “Since installing Sterling Sleep Systems mattresses, guests have provided only positive comments about our beds” says Cliff Reynolds, Managing Director of Silver Saddle Ranch & Club.
Sterling’s Eco Friendly component based mattress allow for the replacement of soiled, worn or damaged sections which result in renewed mattresses that continue to provide the comfort for hotel guests, reduce maintenance expenses and extend the life of hotel mattress. “Since we changed to Sterling modular mattresses, we have had a few guest accidents but we are now able to unzip and replace the top cover panel of the mattress with a spare while we had the original dry-cleaned. The beds are really great and save room down time” says Reynolds.
An expert in sustainable component based beds, Sterling Sleep Systems has pioneered and perfected modular mattress design and holds patents on an original replaceable component mattress system. Tony Hochschild, President of Sterling Sleep Systems, shares his philosophy “For over 20 years, Sterling Sleep Systems has been crafting mattresses with three distinct criteria in mind. Mattresses should increase value for hotel guests, provide superior hygiene, and significantly reduce environmental impact.”
