Bed Frame & Foundation Requirements
The Sterling Imperial is compatible with slatted bed frames, however our warranty requires the mattress to be fully supported on a flat, firm surface. If using a slatted frame, we strongly recommend placing a sheet of plywood or a bunkie board over the slats to fill the gaps and provide even support. Our wood foundations are an excellent alternative if modifying your existing frame isn’t possible — contact us for details.
